Any decision of postponement or cancellation due to insufficient registration will be communicated to registrants at least 1 week ahead of the scheduled start date.
-
Program spots are limited, and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
-
Our programs have set run periods, with students learning with their peers at the same time with similar goals in mind. As such, late registrations may not be possible and is at the discretion of the program teacher.
-
GNAC is committed to providing the best learning environment as possible for all of its students.
-
The performing arts are a team activity, with success being dependent on the enthusiasm and cooperation of all the students. We expect this to be understood by both students and parents and every effort made to attend and fully participate in all program sessions.
-
Certain programs will have minimum attendance requirements that will be strictly enforced. This is to ensure a successful production and supports a healthy team environment. Those programs will be identified prior to registration. Should a student exceed the allowable amount of absences, they will be removed from the program with no refund issued.
-
The staff at GNAC understands that bad days can happen. As such, GNAC teachers will do their best to resolve any behavioural difficulties that may arise through clear and empathic communication, adaptation of class activities as appropriate, and healthy boundary-setting. However, if a disruptive situation is not able to be resolved, the student will be removed from the program for that session and the parent/guardian will be contacted. After two (2) instances of removal for disruptive situations, the student will be removed from the program with no refund provided.
-
GNAC respects the rights of all staff, volunteers, program participants, and the general public, and operates with a strict Safety and Security Policy.
-
-
To ensure the safety of all of our students and teachers, we ask the following precautions be taken:
-
Students should not attend program sessions when sick. If a student comes to their session and is obviously ill, they will be removed from the group and if required, a parent or guardian called to pick them up.
-
If the student has been recently sick and has remaining symptoms (i.e., lingering cough, runny nose, etc.), we ask that they wear a mask and use hand cleanser as needed.
-
-
GNAC may occasionally videotape or photograph students during performances or program sessions. These images and videos may be used by GNAC for promotional purposes without prior notification, including on our website, social media channels, and for media distribution. Names of students will only be posted alongside the pictures for performance onsite publications (i.e., Front of House posters, show programs, etc.). Names of students will not be posted along with their photos on any online materials.
-
All program sessions, workshops, performances, and all other activities are subject to our Payment and Refund Policy.
