Named “duo of the moment” by Écho Vedette, Sugar Crush is taking its big country party far beyond borders. After winning over Europe and Africa, the Franco-Ontarian duo has now established itself as a leading name on the francophone country scene.

Formed by Joanie Charron and Marie-Soleil Provost, the duo stands out for its catchy melodies and festive energy. Their new show, which combines original songs with reimagined covers of the greatest classics, is a true musical cocktail that speaks directly to people’s hearts.

Their most recent EP, Pause (2023), reveals a more intimate side while preserving the festive intensity that has made them known. Several of their songs have reached the top of radio charts, including “J’aurais dû,” which climbed to #1 on the Stingray Franco Country chart.

Their journey reflects a steady rise: the People’s Choice Award at the 2022 Gala Country, two CMAO nominations for Francophone Artist of the Year, and a series of performances that have allowed them to build a unique connection with their audience.

Sugar Crush has also had the honour of sharing the stage with artists such as Gildor Roy, Edith Butler, and Paul Daraîche, and they recently opened for the groups Salebarbes and Les Gars du Nord, a testament to their talent and growing popularity.

Every Sugar Crush performance is a country celebration where the music warms the heart, gets feet moving, and creates a memorable atmosphere.
