Code of Conduct

Our camp staff use a positive and supportive approach to guide behaviour, encourage personal growth, and reinforce respectful choices. All campers are expected to interact kindly and appropriately with fellow campers, staff, and volunteers, take responsibility for their actions and words, make safe and healthy choices, and treat others and shared spaces with respect. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and memorable experience, with the physical and emotional safety of all participants as our top priority; campers and parents/guardians share responsibility for understanding and following all camp safety rules and behavioural expectations. Campers are expected to participate positively in all activities, and behaviours that negatively impact the safety, learning, or enjoyment of others, including physical aggression, verbal abuse, harassment, bullying, threats, running away, or property damage, will not be tolerated. Any behaviour that places a camper or others at risk may result in temporary or permanent dismissal from camp at the discretion of Greater Nation Arts Collective, and no refunds will be issued if dismissal occurs due to behavioural concerns.

Photo & Video Release

I give permission for Greater Nation Arts Collective (GNAC) to photograph and/or record my child during participation in camp activities, including rehearsals, classes, and performances. I understand these photos and/or recordings may be used for promotional purposes such as the website, social media, promotional materials (print or digital), newsletters, and posters. GNAC will not include names of students along side their photos in online materials. I understand that images will be used respectfully, that I will not receive compensation, and that I may withdraw this permission at any time by providing written notice to GNAC, which will apply to future use only

Camp Cancellation Policy

-All refunds will be subject to a $50 administrative fee

-Full refunds will be given if the camp is cancelled by GNAC

-Cancellations made before June 27 will be fully refunded (less the $50 administration fee)

-Cancellations made between June 27-July 13th will result in a 50% refund.

-Cancellations made after June 13th will not be refunded.

-No refunds will be issued if a participant fails to attend any days of the camp

Injury Disclaimer

Participants acknowledge that engaging in rehearsals and performance for the summer camp involves physical activity and inherent risks. Our organization is not liable for any injuries sustained during the program.

**GNAC reserves the right to make changes to the camp schedule following registration if required to accommodate demand. Insufficient registration in any camp may result in its cancellation.

GNAC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
